Better cleaning for new fabrics and furnishes
Clean, permeable fabrics are essential to consistently produce a quality sheet. The new forming and press fabric designs must be kept cleaner to maintain drainage needed to produce a uniform, high quality sheet. At the same time, increased use of recycled furnish means higher levels of contaminants, especially hard-to-remove materials like stickies.
The VersaKleen traversing shower system was designed for conditions like these. Depending on cleaning requirements, the VersaKleen system uses up to five water jets or fans to dislodge and wash contaminants off the fabric. The high-pressure, low-volume nozzles provide thorough and efficient cleaning.
Versakleen DPF™ and HSF™ Systems
VersaKleen DPF is for dryer, press and forming applications requiring low speed cleaning. The HSF version is for forming applications that require high speed cleaning. The VersaKleen traverses between 0.5" - 120" (12mm - 3048mm) per minute.

VersaKleen D™ Systems
For use in applications where debris collection is necessary in the dryer section.

- Uses extremely high-pressure, low-volume water to remove the most stubborn contaminants - without streaking the sheet or damaging the dryer fabric.
- Withstands temperatures to 300°F (149°C) - no cooling is required for most applications.
- Lower water and power consumption than full-width shower systems.
- Automatically detects plugged nozzles or ruptured hose and switches to a new nozzle bank, when used with the Unigy™ pump system.
- Includes a self-contained water filter, safety shut-off solenoid valves and pressure relief valve.
- A simple mechanical debris collection system is available with all VersaKleen systems.
